IYE Pre-Accelerator (2026 Cohort)

Overview

IYE Pre-Accelerator is a fully funded, six-month program designed for young business leaders aged 15 to 30 who are ready to turn their business ideas into reality.

If you're a young entrepreneur, or curious about turning an idea into a business, IYE is your entrepreneurial launchpad.

For young people who cannot afford to pay, the initiative is free, private sponsors cover the cost of participation.

Where possible we invite young people to contribute to iGen Foundation either financially or as volunteers.

The main requirements are you must have a business idea and must fully commit to the program to honour the sponsorship support, working collaboratively with all participants and presenters and coaches, and focus on the development of your business.

Over six months, you’ll gain the practical knowledge and skills needed to turn your business idea into a successful venture.

Through a mix of monthly in-person workshops, 1-on-1 mentorship, and hands-on activities, you’ll learn about business development, marketing, finances, tools for business and more.

You’ll also develop the essential mindset of entrepreneurship, the skills in networking, resilience, and time management.

Who should apply?

This program is for young people aged 15 to 30 who:

  • Have a business idea or early-stage venture;

  • Live in Melbourne or regional Victoria with the capability to attend in Melbourne; and

  • Are ready to commit to the program and take action on their idea.
